Gears of War: Anvil Gate Out Next Week
Love the Gears of War series? Can’t wait until the third game in the Xbox 360 exclusive? Well maybe this might help.
It’s the third book in the Gears of War book series, and in this book, the COG’s fight against the Stranded Insurgency and their uniting against the Lambent Invasion, as well as a flashback storyline focusing on the Siege of Anvil Gate. It is written by Karen Traviss, who lives in Wiltshire, UK (where two of our staff live).
From what is gathered, the book is set after Gears of War 2, after Jacinto’s destruction, and the citizens are trying to rebuild. Not only that, but you don’t need to have read the first two books to understand the story, just the games. But it might be helpful if you have.
The book will be out August 31st, 2010 for £6.99/$15.00.
