Halo: Reach – Free Gold Weekend and Launch Promotions
With only two hours to go until Halo: Reach officaly goes on sale, (to those who got it early, you are not welcome!) the excitement has arisen.
The first thing we would like you to watch is this video of a Halo: Reach promotion of a Spartan jetpacking above the crowd… awesome but a bit dull, but never mind:
The second thing is that Microsoft have announced a free Xbox Live gold weekend exclusively for the Halo: Reach multiplayer. Microsoft hopes this may increase the Halo: Reach sales and possibly give them more money with those on Silver Membership hopefully going to Gold membership. Not only that, but Microsoft are also going to be selling 12 month membership cards with 2 bonus months. Yes. 14 months of Xbox Live gold!
The free xbox live gold weekend will allow Silver players of Halo: Reach to play on multiplayer, co-op and more. But this is just for Halo: Reach. If you tried multiplayer on other games with Silver membership, it would not work.
