Sonic Adventure Now Available For Download From XBLA

Sonic Adventure, Sonic’s first 3D game released on the SEGA Dreamcast, has been digitally re-mastered with 720p high definition and Dolby Digital Sound, and is available now to purchase on Xbox Live Arcade.

“This week marked the eleventh anniversary of the Dreamcast’s arrival” said Haruki Satomi, VP of Digital Business at SEGA of America. “We feel there’s no better way to honour that milestone than by providing both new and veteran gamers with the chance to experience Sonic’s first thrilling 3D adventure in High Definition!”

You can play through the game as one of six characters – including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy – each having their own unique story and adventure. There is also opportunity to earn achievements, climb up the leaderboards and breed a pet Chao.

PlayStation 3 owners will not miss out on the fun either though, as the game will be available on the PlayStation Network on the 22nd of September for £6.29.

Sonic Adventure is now available to download from XBLA for 800 Microsoft Points.
