BioShock Infinite Demo Footage Available Tomorrow
Tomorrow at 9am PDT (4pm GMT), BioShock fans will be able to access footage from the demo of BioShock Infinite exclusively for 24 hours on Xbox Live and Xbox.com. After this 24 hour period, Irrational Games will be posting the footage on BioShockInfinite.com and distribute the video worldwide. The demo video won IGN’s Gamescom Game of Show Award, and this will be the first time it will be released to the general public.
The demo video opens with the game’s protagonist, former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, battling through the streets of Columbia, a crumbling city in the sky. He has come to rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious young woman imprisoned there since childhood. As DeWitt and Elizabeth merge their powers in a desperate bid to escape the city, viewers will witness intense indoor and outdoor battles, new weapons and abilities, and dangerous new enemies including Elizabeth’s terrifying captor.
BioShock Infinite is planned to be released in 2012 and is in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Games For Windows.
